Job Information:

Under direction of the Supervisor and Nutrition Services lead, the Cook is directly responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving cafeteria food according to the safety and sanitation standards.

The Cook will assist in prep work, assembly cooking anddish washing, along with other various kitchen duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Adhering to all orders on special Diets
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitary working condition
  • Adhering to Infection Control & Quality Assurance Policy

The qualified candidate must have basic knowledge of the principles of nutrition, experience operating and maintaining kitchen equipment, math skills and the ability to work any shift or schedule.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE; CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:

  • High school level of education
  • Minimum 3 years experience in food service
  • Formal education in food service preferred
  • Drug test and background check required
