Job Information:

We are hiring for Field Technicians to work on sites in Montana.

Necessary capabilities include:

-Determine precise location in field environment using a variety of techniques such as use of global positioning equipment, or basic land navigation techniques using tape and compass;
-Perform environmental sampling outdoors in adverse weather conditions and on difficult terrain;
-Lifting instruments and equipment up to 60 pounds and climbing up and down steep slopes will be required at certain times.

Requirements:

-A valid driver’s license
-Must be able to pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) background check
-High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor degree in environmental science, engineering, resource management, or a related field preferred
-Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
-Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds
-Ability to travel for several weeks at a time as necessary
-Individuals must have OSHA 40-hour training in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 and be in the medical monitoring program prior to starting on-site work.

This is a full-time position and could turn permanent for the right person.
